General Conference Info:

  • Our conference was founded in 2012

  • In 2019 our total attendance was 828

  • 2020 will be our 9th annual conference

  • Call for presentations are open from December to February

  • This conference is the largest practitioner-led gang conference in the World

  • We have hosted the event in Los Angeles every year, but are now exploring other host cities

  • Our focus is on gang violence and other associated forms of violence  (DV, Human Trafficking, Bullying, etc)

  • We have had over 300 expert practitioners speak at our conferences

  • Over 3,000 people have attended our conference since our first year

  • We pride ourselves in having a diverse group of speakers and presenters every year

  • Over 26 countries have been represented at our conferences

  • Participants come from non-profit organizations, faith-based groups, universities, corporations and government entities

  • Law Enforcement is always an integral part of our conference

  • Presenters: We ask that presentations be limited to 2 speakers and panels to 3 speakers

  • There have been dozens of collaborations formed as a result of networking at our conference

  • Several individuals have gained employment as a result of attending our conference

  • We will provide a certificate of participation upon request

  • We do not have any poster presentation sessions

  • We do not offer tables for vendors, except for some rare unique situations

  • We do not offer CEUs for attending our conference

  • Lost items that are turned in will be held at our registration table

Registration info:

  • Registration is transferable up to 30 days before the event. Please download the Eventbrite app to make changes

  • We will not offer refunds within 30 days of the event

  • Changes to registration must come from the person who executed the registration

  • Changes must be sent via email to staff@gangconference.org

  • We do NOT provide scholarships to our event

  • Registered attendees & speakers are responsible for their travel, per diem, lodging, and other associated costs

  • Because we sell out every year, we can not accommodate walk-ins. Non registered individuals will be turned away
